Niklaus Weiss, Joachim Pelikan and collaborators at the Swiss TPH in Basel provide an excellent online and free training course for diagnostic medical parasitology, featuring a virtual microscope and beautiful microscophic images. The course leads the student from basic training to more complicated diagnostic exercises.
Coursera has announced a new online course on Tropical Parasitology: Protozoans, Worms, Vectors and Human Diseases. It is taught by John A. Bartlett, M.D. from Duke University, Franklin Mosha, Ph.D. and Mramba Nyindo, Ph.D. from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College and is available over 10 weeks from January to March 2016.
